This particular card is very important to me. It has attended me along the way over the years and is once again clearly manifesting in my life. As I painted this illustration back in 2006 it was representative of where I was at the time getting ready to introduce the first edition to the world.
I was very cognizant at the time that completing something does not mean you are done. I perceived it as reaching the summit of that particular mountain but I was careful to put other mountains in the distance because I knew there was much more to learn and experience, and here I am again. I hope to someday have a cloisonné pendant made of this card so that I can wear it to remind myself of this truth. Even when we reach a summit, there is more opportunity for growth ahead.
Exciting and interesting things have been happening since the last time I blogged here. I have been working on the second edition of The Circle and getting ready to share it with a much larger audience.
I was trying to figure out how to make The Circle more compact, easier to use and share. Suddenly, one day I had one of those aha moments, when you realize that the Universe has already given you the answer but you have been busy not listening. I find I do that often so I am thankful that the Universe is kind and patient.
This week I have been thinking about my health and specifically
my weight. This has been an ongoing theme throughout my life and I have
had times when I was on track and times when I was off course.
Focus = Intuition
Using
intuition. The choices you make are often guided by intuition. From
subtle insights to direct knowledge, intuition is your ally.
Desire = Procrastination
Letting
go. You desire an end to the frustrating impasse that is stifling your
ability to more forward. It may be that you need to let go of some
unrealistic expectations and free yourself to finish what you start.
Outside Influences = Fertility
Gathering
support. A friend or partner can be counted on to lend you support. Be
sure to acknowledge their generous contribution.
Inner Dialog = Origin
Coloring the past. You may want to represent your past as other than
it was. Be certain that your perceptions are accurate and honest. Do not deceive yourself.
Challenges = Knowledge
Learning
from life. Education does not take place in the classroom alone. You
are a student in the school of life. Learning opportunities abound.
Make the most of them.
Insight = Discovery
Seizing the day. New opportunities present themselves. Do not hesitate. Let your sense of adventure guide you.
Meditation = Betrayal
Being
true to yourself. “This above all: to thine own self be true, And it
must follow as the night the day, Thou cants not then be false to any
man.” ~ William Shakespeare
Resolution = Transformation
Living
fully. You want a meaningful life. Change brings opportunities to
explore new aspects of yourself. There are exciting changes coming your
way.
